Meet the Team: Dr. Tater earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from the University of Maryland at College Park and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Cornell University. After graduation, Dr. Tater completed a one year Internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at the Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston, followed by a multi-year residency in Veterinary Dermatology at North Carolina State University. Previously, Dr. Tater was in private practice as a Dermatologist at a multi-specialty and referral veterinary hospital in Virginia. In addition to being the only Board-Certified Specialist in Veterinary Dermatology at Angell, Dr. Tater also teaches veterinary students and fellow veterinarians. Dr. Tater is a Dermatology Consultant for the Veterinary Information Network, an online provider of continuing education for veterinarians. She is also a Clinical Assistant Professor for the Tufts School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Tater has authored multiple research papers and book chapters and is a reviewer for scientific journals such as Veterinary Dermatology. Dr. Tater is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Academy of Veterinary Dermatology, the International Society for Veterinary Dermatopathology and the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology. She is a past recipient of multiple awards including the Cornell Dermatology Award, an ACVD Award for Scientific Research and the MSPCA's Mary Mitchell Humane Award. She is active nationally with the ACVD and the AAVD and is a past committee chairperson. Chantelle Tebaldi, CVT Chantelle has been with the Chantelle joined the Angell Dermatology Service in the Summer of 2008. During appointments, she reviews the medical history with our clients and assists our dermatologist with the examination. She has specia Chantelle has been a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) since 2002 and is a member of both the Massachusetts Veterinary Technician Association (MVTA) and the North American Veterinary Technician Association (NAVTA).
In the Fall of 2000, Rebecca became a Client Liaison Supervisor for Angell. In this position, Rebecca managed all of our Client Liaisons and assisted in the development of a new telephone call center for Angell. Rebecca joined the Angell Dermatology Service in the Summer of 2006. She schedules all of our Dermatology appointments and is responsible for answering client questions about their pet's dermatologic conditions. Rebecca brings with her years of experience in customer service and of course a great love for animals!
